MICHAEL P. CARBONE is a dispute resolution specialist, whose practice has been built over a period of 30 years. He is primarily a mediator, but has also served on many cases as an arbitrator or court-appointed referee.
He resolves commercial, employment, construction, real estate, personal injury, estate and trust, insurance coverage, legal malpractice, and corporate and partnership disputes.
As a lawyer for more than 45 years he developed a set of transactional and litigation skills that have served him well as a neutral, especially in complex cases. He practiced in many diverse fields of law and served a clientele that came from a wide variety of industries.
He is a founder and past president of The Mediation Society, and a member of many other professional organizations, including the Bay Area E-Discovery Forum which he founded in 2013.
He is a frequent author and lecturer on dispute resolution issues and his monthly publication entitled “Resolving It” provides timely advice on the negotiation, settlement and adjudication of disputes.
